Drawing in ten Stages. Performance. 1st Bienal of Visual Arts, Trinidad, Cuba. 2001

Forming a line and with our eyes shot, we tried to reproduce in the back of the artist that was in front, what we felt the artist behind was doing in our back. (Only the last artist of the line could see and have absolute control of the drawing; the first in the line was our professor and artist Lázaro Saavedra). We would print the back drawings in cloth and display them in a wall, in the same order. The result goes from figuration to total abstraction.
The piece was an interpretation of Drawing in two stages (Advancing to a Future State), by Dennis Oppenheim. In another occasion, we invited Cuban artist Fernando Rodríguez to realize the original drawing.
